About the blog
Reading around the world is travel inspired by reading and reading inspired by travel. I connect readers with engaging books from around the world and immersive literary travel experiences.
My personal challenge is to read more deeply and more meaningfully, to understand the places I travel to through their literature, to share my experiences with books and travel, and to build a home library of great books that will outlast generations.
On my Reading Around the World Trail, I seek books that are meaningful to a culture, and I publish book recommendations along with journals of literary travel and cultural immersion in places that give credence to the beauty of literature.
I welcome both lovers of global literature who read to be transported to different cultures, and travel enthusiasts open to engaging with a culture through its books.
