Hello Lover of Books and travel
Reading Around the World
Sometimes you read to travel and sometimes you travel and read. Join me in exploring seven continents through engaging books and immersive travel experiences.

About the blog
Reading around the world is travel inspired by reading and reading inspired by travel. I recommend intriguing literary fiction and nonfiction from around the world, books that provide inspiration, restoration, education, and escape. I write about immersive travel experiences in lliterary cities.
My personal challenge is to read more deeply and more meaningfully, to share my experiences with books, and to build a home library of books that will outlast generations. I hope to discover writers I have never heard of, in parts of the world where I’ve never been.
I hope that as I build my personal library of global depth, I can encourage you to build yours. Let’s share and spread our love for books and how they shape culture.
My travel is both planned and spontaneous. I travel to the settings of books I have read. I am open to beautiful surprises, and I seek books that are meaningful to a culture. I publish the reading around the world literary trail, a collection of literary travel, books, activities and tips from places that give credence to the beauty of literature.
I support the literary arts around the world by being a Reader Member of PEN America and a Library of Congress researcher.
I welcome lovers of global literature who read to be transported to different cultures, and travel enthusiasts open to engaging with a culture through its books.
Join The Reading Around the World Trail to:
- Understand people and places
- Refine your intellectual capacity
- Be encouraged to travel
- Engage with the world
I hope you join me in this lifestyle challenge.
With warmest regards,
CeCi
